...or so I wish. These lovely white-ground-and-blue sky shots are the result of my new infra red filter~ I'd still bet my love of snow is showing with these, I always did love that effect infrared photography has. I'd been curious about it for years and was already trying to figure out how to do it myself, when my cousin offered to take me to Europe with her. Looking over these new pictures, it was a headache well worth dealing with. I'm so glad I did figure it all out in time to get the camera and filter for the trip <3
I, uh, *cough* took about 2,000 photos, and have some extra from my cousin's camera to sort through too. So it's going to be a bit longer before I knock together anything more on the trip besides some gallery-worthy photos. The trip went well, but too fast-next time I want more time! And more time afterward would be nice too-I'd barely been home two days before my laptop suffered catastrophic water damage and I had to get ready for anime convention the following weekend anyway. I went as photographer for 91.8 the Fan (online anime/Japanese/video game music radio station, it's pretty cool, check it out~), so I had to fix up those photos right away, while my computer just sat there until, like, last Tuesday. Huzzah, it still lives! That's the upside to water damage-electronics just tend to need a good week to dry out in order to work again.
Whee, sorting through 3,000-some trip photos...and some non-photography art or even some writing would be nice to put up, too...
